Look out Seattle!

Likemany artists out there, I have a full time job in addition to my artistic pursuits. I'll be relocating to Seattle in a few months and I hope that I will get to meet and network with some of the local talent! I did a simple search on Etsy for some Seattle related items and have found a few that I'm sure is representative of the local craft scene.

Felt Obsession

Lately I've been obsessing over felt accessories......pins, jewelry anything felt. I've dabbled with using felt on some of my ornaments and jewelry boxes but never tried making accessories from it. I'm a lover of layers and felt seems like the perfect medium to create layers that aren't over done. Classic pieces in my closet are breathing new life thanks to some swanky felt brooches.

This is a whole new venture for me....... I soon will be featuring some of my favorite new findings as well some of my own designs that I'm most proud of. Hopefully I will be able to post weekly.
